AI transformation and cybersecurity

Know what your AI agents will do before you let them do it.

We engineer AI systems and agents, prove they are safe to release, and secure the products, platforms and cryptography around them. For engineering, security and risk leaders taking AI into production.

The method

The Release Evidence Method

Model evaluations tell you what an agent says. We test what it does, what it is allowed to do, and what happens when it gets it wrong.

The Release Evidence Method Four connected stages: Workflow, Authority, Evidence, Decision. The decision loops back to the workflow. 01 / WORKFLOW Name the work Task, outcome, owner 02 / AUTHORITY Bound the agent Identity, tools, approvals 03 / EVIDENCE Observe behaviour Runs, traces, final state 04 / DECISION Choose the next step Release, redesign, narrow what the evidence supports, back to the workflow
01 / WORKFLOW

Name the work and its owner.

Start with a real task, the outcome it should support and the people accountable for it.

02 / AUTHORITY

Bound what the agent can do.

Connect identity, permissions, tools, data and human review to the delegated task.

03 / EVIDENCE

Observe behaviour and final state.

Test meaningful cases and retain evidence of both the agent response and the resulting system effect.

04 / DECISION

Choose the next controlled step.

Release, redesign, gather more evidence or narrow the intended use, with the limitation visible.

From answers to actions

What changes when AI can take action?

Consider a customer refund. AI can help someone understand the request; an AI agent can also work through the steps needed to handle it.

  1. Understand information

    AI generates an answer

AI can summarise documents, draft text or make predictions. A person decides what to do with the result.

Example: summarise a customer’s refund request.

  2. Use tools and take steps

An AI agent works through a task

An AI agent can look up information, choose a next step and use connected software to carry out a task.

Example: check the order, look up the refund policy and prepare a refund.

  3. Decide what it may do

    Your business sets the controls

Permissions, approval steps and records of actions determine how the agent works with your people and software.

Example: require a manager’s approval before issuing the refund, then record what happened.

How we help

We help you choose tasks for AI agents, set limits on their actions and test how they handle real work before expanding their use.

Start with the decision

Where is your agentic AI work today?

Choose the stage closest to your team. Each one starts with a concrete question and leads to the offers that answer it.

01

Decide

Should this work use an AI feature, an AI agent or neither?

Readiness, platform selection and leadership programmes for deciding where AI agents belong and what must be in place before a first build.

Decide where agents fit services
02

Build

What makes the agent executable, recoverable and owned?

Engineering pods and fractional leadership for building the harness around an AI agent and running it with clear ownership.

Build and run agents services
03

Prove

What evidence supports letting this agent operate?

Release readiness reviews and continuous assurance that connect what an AI agent actually does to the evidence a release board needs.

Prove it is ready to release services
04

Secure

Can this agent be tricked into acting outside its authority?

Red teaming, authorisation and runtime security reviews that test whether an AI agent can be made to act outside its intended authority.

Secure agent autonomy services
05

Govern

Who is accountable when an agent acts, and can you show it?

Governance operating systems and impact measurement that make accountability for AI agents visible and their value measurable.

Govern and measure services

Agent Release Readiness Review

One agent workflow. Evidence your release board can sign. A fixed-scope review of what the agent does, what it may do and what happens when it is wrong.

  • Workflow and authority map (who the agent acts for, which tools and data it can reach)
  • Test campaign of representative, edge-case and adversarial runs, with traces
  • Findings register mapped to OWASP and MITRE ATLAS

What should trigger an agent governance review?

Review should follow material changes in purpose, authority, data, users, dependencies, evidence or incidents—not an arbitrary calendar alone.

Can your agent truly forget?

Deleting a chat is not the same as removing personal data from memory, retrieval, logs, caches, evaluations, backups and learned models.

What business problem does Softlander help solve?

Softlander helps enterprise teams make defensible decisions about agentic AI: where an agent should be used, which actions it may take, how its behaviour should be evaluated and what evidence should support a release or investment decision.

Who is Softlander designed to work with?

The current focus is leaders responsible for an enterprise agent workflow, including product, engineering, AI platform, security, governance and transformation owners. A useful engagement needs a named workflow owner and a real decision to support.

Can Softlander assess an agent that is already being built?

Yes. A scoped discussion can begin with an existing design, pilot, evidence pack or release question. The first task is to define the workflow boundary, configuration, expected behaviour, permitted actions and evidence currently available.

What does Softlander mean by assurance?

Assurance means producing reviewable evidence and clearly bounded findings for a defined question. It does not mean certification, a guarantee of safety or a transfer of the organisation’s release and residual-risk responsibilities.

How do you contract and where is the work done?

Engagements are contracted with Softlander Consultancy FZE LLC in the United Arab Emirates. Delivery is remote by default from the UAE and India, with cover for Gulf, Indian and UK morning hours. We sign an NDA before you share detail and agree where evidence is stored before any of it moves. See how we work for the specifics.
